Rep. Jimmie Don Aycock (R-Killeen), who chairs Texas's House Public Education Committee, sat down this morning with Evan Smith from the Texas Tribune to answer questions about public education policy and the 84th legislative session. The interview was part of the media organization's continuing "TribTalks" series. Smith's conversation with Chairman Aycock covered a range of issues, including school finance, testing, voucher proposals, and pre-kindergarten, followed by questions from the audience.
