Today is May 27, a date we've been talking about for several months. It is election day for the Democratic and Republican party primary runoffs. Important contests will be decided today, and your voice is needed to ensure that public education will be well-served by our elected officials. Please visit your assigned polling location before 7 p.m. tonight to cast your vote. Click here to view a list of today's runoffs for legislative and SBOE seats sorted by geographic region along with maps of those districts and links to the candidates’ Teach the Vote profile pages. There are also important statewide races on both the Republican and Democratic party runoff ballots today. To find your polling location and additional voting information, visit VoteTexas.gov.
