Comprehensive charter school bill advances

The House just passed its version of Senate Bill 2, relating to charter schools. The bill was filed by Sen. Dan Patrick and sponsored in the House by Rep. Jimmie Don Aycock. Since there are differences between the House and Senate versions, we expect the bill to head to a conference committee next to iron out the differences.
